Started in Breslau in 1880, moved to Berlin in 1883, but eventually 250 venues throughout Germany. Large cyclindrical cabinet around which two dozen people could peer through lunettes at stereoscopic photographs from all over the world on a rotating carousel. Two cycles of fifty views changed out twice a week.
